Quiz/Exam Converter ("the Service") is an online tool operated by examconverter.com that converts assessment documents (.docx and .pdf files) into Moodle-compatible XML format using AI-assisted question extraction. The Service is available at examconverter.com and any associated subdomains.
You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. The Service is intended for professional and educational use by instructional designers, training departments, eLearning consultants, and similar users. Use for personal or consumer purposes is also permitted.
You must register for an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at support@examconverter.com.
Access to the conversion and export features of the Service requires credits. Credits are purchased in packs and deducted when you export a Moodle XML file. One credit is consumed per export, regardless of the number of questions in the document.
You may request a full refund of a credit pack purchase within 5 days of the transaction date, provided that none of the purchased credits have been used. Once any credit from a pack has been consumed, the purchase is non-refundable.
To request a refund, contact us at support@examconverter.com within 5 days of purchase with your account email and the date of the transaction. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
You retain all intellectual property rights in the documents you upload and the XML files generated from them. By uploading a document, you grant us a limited, temporary licence to process and store the content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This licence terminates immediately when your files are deleted following export.
You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload and process the documents you submit, and that doing so does not infringe the rights of any third party.
The Service uses artificial intelligence to extract and structure questions from your documents. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated output may contain errors, omissions, or misidentifications. You are responsible for reviewing all extracted questions in the approval interface before exporting. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of the converted output.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, examconverter.com and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or used the Service in a manner that is harmful to other users or to the Service itself.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@examconverter.com. Unused credits are non-refundable upon voluntary account closure except where required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time with reasonable notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
